Building compliance and energy assessment services provider Green Zone Surveys has bought Enviroduct to ramp up its offering to clients.
North East-based Green Zone Surveys said the strategic deal was a ‘significant milestone’ in its growth, increasing its workforce and profit and boosting its service offering in the TR-19 market.
This includes duct cleaning guidelines and standards such as kitchen extract cleaning, ventilation system cleaning and fire damper drop testing. The type of clients which need these services include those in the hospitality sector such as restaurants.
Enviroduct, established in 2015, is one of the largest ductwork cleaning companies in the Northern region with operations spanning the UK.
The company specialises in TR-19 grease extraction cleaning, ventilation cleaning to BSEN 15780 standards, fire damper testing, deep cleaning of commercial kitchens and other compliance-related services.
Green Zone Surveys and Enviroduct have previously collaborated, and this acquisition enables the former not just to strengthen its current TR19 offering, but expand its service portfolio, widen its geographical reach and drive new business opportunities.
Hailing the acquisition, Callum Thompson, CEO of Green Zone Surveys, said: “Bringing Enviroduct into the Green Zone group is an exciting step forward. Their established reputation in the TR-19 market complements our existing services and their team’s expertise aligns perfectly with our own commitment to providing best-in-class compliance solutions. This acquisition strengthens our position as a national leader in building compliance, enhances our customer offering and accelerates our growth trajectory."
The integration will see Enviroduct retain its brand identity for the foreseeable future, with a co-branded approach to leverage both firms’ established market presence.
Ben Walker, Enviroduct’s Managing Director, will remain in his role, ensuring continuity for both clients and staff.
“Joining Green Zone Surveys marks a new chapter for Enviroduct,” he said. “We’ve built a strong partnership over the years and have a strongly aligned vision of how to scale the operation, complementing our diverse skills-based in building compliance services. As part of Green Zone Surveys, we’re perfectly positioned to deliver unrivalled expertise and value in the TR-19 and ventilation compliance markets."
