We can supply Apostilled company documents, the process of obtaining an Apostille on a company document is called Legalisation.

An Apostille involves the addition of a certificate, either stamped on the document itself or attached to the document and is the method of authentication of documents for use in overseas countries.

Once a company document has been Legalised it enables the presenter to bypass further certification and immediately use the documents in the intended country. The authority receiving the documents accepts the seals and signatures as true and valid without requesting further evidence.

The Apostille Certificate follows a format set out in the Hague Convention and includes:

UK Apostilled Company Documents

We can provide Apostilled existing UK company documents, certified company documents from Companies House that are legalised at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Brazilian Consulate – Document Legalisation

To be valid in Brazil company documents issued, must be legalised by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

After receiving the signature of Brazilian consular authority the company documents may need to be translated by a certified public translator. British documents no longer require legalisation at the Consulate, as Brazil joined the Hague Apostille Convention. Documents issued by countries party to the Convention no longer have to be legalised by consular representations, and need only get an apostille. In the UK, the apostille is carried out directly by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Chile Consulate– Document Legalisation

UK Company Documents need to first be Apostilled at the UK Legalisation Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, then they can be Legalised at the Chilean Consulate. UK company documents are legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office which means the signature, seal or stamp made by a UK public official on the document is confirmed as genuine by the UK government.

Foreign company documents must be notarised by a Notary Public, legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to then be legalised by the Chilean Consulate.

Chinese Embassy – Document Legalisation

The Hague Convention which abolished the requirement of legalisation for foreign public documents only applies to the Hong Kong and Macao regions, China has not yet joined the Hague Convention.

If company documents issued are going to be used in China, they need to be legalised by the Chinese embassy. We can provide certified company documents, which are legalised at the Chinese embassy.

If the company documents are not issued by a British government authority, then we get a notary public to notarise them. After we complete the stage of notarisation and legalisation at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, we submit the documents to the Chinese embassy for legalisation.

The Chinese embassy legalises the document and confirming the authenticity of the signature of the officer or the stamp of the department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

For companies incorporated in the Seychelles, there is a Chinese embassy in the Seychelles, company documents are certified and Apostilled at the registry, submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be certified then certified at the Chinese Embassy.

Iraqi Consulate– Document Legalisation

UK Company Documents need to first be Apostilled at the UK Legalisation Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, then stamped at the London Chamber of Commerce and the Arab British Chamber of Commerce. They can then be Legalised at the Iraqi Consulate. UK company documents are legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office which means the signature, seal or stamp made by a UK public official on the document is confirmed as genuine by the UK government.

Foreign company documents must be notarised by a Notary Public, legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, stamped by the London Chamber of Commerce and the Arab British Chamber of Commerce and then be legalised by the Iraqi Consulate.

UAE Embassy – Document Legalisation

Company documents presented to the UAE Embassy’s Consulate Section for Legalisation must first be Apostilled by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office or the relevant authority.

Documents from British Overseas Territories will require certifying by the Government of the territory prior to submission to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office for legalisation. Other Documents should be first authenticated by a solicitor or notarised by a Notary Public as a preliminary to their legalisation.

We can get Foreign documents Apostilled at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. Foreign documents first need to be certified by the London Embassy of the relevant country of issue then as the FCO do not legalise the Embassies signature and stamp, a UK solicitor needs to authenticate the document, then the FCO legalisation will legalise the document. Once this is done the document can be sent by ourselves to the UAE Embassy for legalisation. Documents that can be legalised at the UAE includes:
